Like any other year with Gumball 3000, we receive hundreds of questions and rather than try to reply to everyone individually (which is next to impossible), here are some answers to the most frequent questions you have been sharing with me via social media!
Are you doing the rally this year?
Yes, the Shmee150 team will be doing the rally as per the last six years, I won’t be missing Gumball for anything! See you in Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Luxembourg, Europa-Park, Bodensee, Prague, Hungaroring, Budapest, Sibiu and Bucharest.
How can I follow the rally?
Stay tuned and get the latest updates via my Instagram, Facebook and Twitter channels. Just follow them for the latest updates every 30 to 40 minutes. Next to the daily stream with content you will have the option to watch daily Gumball 3000 videos on my YouTube channel covering the previous day on the rally. You can follow the live tracking of the rally via this link.
Where does the rally go?
The Gumball 3000 2016 rally goes from Dublin > Edinburgh > London > Europa-Park > Prague > Budapest and ends in Bucharest. The event starts on the 1st of May and ends on the 7th. You will find the complete route via this blog post!
What route do the cars take?
You can check out the schedule and the routes via this blog post. It provides you with all the details when and where we are going to be.
Where can I see the cars?
You will find the grid locations, checkpoints and other details via this blog post. If a certain location is marked as secret, Gumball will not release it until the day of the departure to that particular location.
What car will Shmee150 be in?
This year Team Shmee150 will have four team members driving in one car, the ABT Audi RS6 120 Jahre Edition wrapped in a special wrap fitting my favorite color trim.

Can I arrange to meet you during the rally?
I’m afraid the rally moves so fast, and as soon as I arrive at each destination it’s to my computer to edit and upload those videos that you guys love following. Unfortunately the whole thing is truly manic and one is running on absolutely minimal sleep hours so every minute is super valuable. By all means let’s meet by for a quick chat at the grids if you see me or my team mates somewhere, but I’m afraid it’s too busy and chaotic to make any specific arrangements at any of the stops.
Who is doing this year’s rally?
The exact line up with all the entrants is not known at this stage. I’m afraid I can’t field questions about whether so-and-so is doing it, or what car are people in. The Gumball 3000 website is the source for all the information about the rally. You will find more information about who is on the rally and which cars are participating via the official website!
